Crocheting this took me about a week. The sewing a couple of days. If you add in the entirety of my procrastination and last minute additions (AKA beautiful tardis lining and possible outside if my dear friend, Cailin, wishes to reverse it at some point) It took me about four months. But if I add together the total time during that period which I actually worked on the bag I'd like to say it took me around a week and a half. Time for pictures of the giant bag:
